I don't think women nowadays need much intro on face mask. Face mask or facial mask is a creamy paste (or gel) or a sheet applied to the entire, already cleansed face, which often contains mineral, vitamins, essential oils and/or fruit extracts. Each of these mask are different simply because they are made for different nature purposes :

a. Deep-cleansing     -  Penetrating the pores;
b. Astringent               -  Healing acne scars or hyper-pigmentation;

b. Brightening             -  Gradual illumination of the skin tone; and

c. Hydration                -  Collagen, Hydration mask to restore the skin

                                        and many more

Of course, the more famous countries which mass produces and uses facial mask are Taiwan and South Korea.

(at least i've been to these 2 countries, and can witness the mass brands of products of the facial mask, some of which name and brand relatively unknown)

Instructions on the packaging says to put on the mask for 15-20 minutes, but I often pamper my face for at least 25 minutes, simply to ensure my face absorb the essence and minerals. It was a cool tingy feeling as I have left it on the fridge for 10 minutes before I apply it on my face. :)

Results : This mask is really good, the after effect leaves my skin squeaky clean and soft. I was lovin' it more as I could feel that it does help improves the elasticity of my skin. Instantly, I felt my face was cleaner, brigther, rejuvenated and evenly moisturized. Two thumbs up, I have to say this product has been one of the more perfect mask I've ever used so far !!! (You have certainly got me hooked now, :p)

Tips/Notes : 

1. Do not place the mask on your face too long or even overnight as the essence will re-absorb back to the mask and then evaporate away.

2. Best to apply the mask before you sleep, as after application effect would give your skin cells a good rest.

And that sums up the GUNNERS Fever that hits the Malaysian shore since the ARSENAL FC team arrived for the ASIA TOUR, kicking off in Malaysia and followed by China.

After a lapse of 12 years since Malaysia last seen this team, you can bet the adrenalin rush on almost any ardent Gunner Supporters when they announce the confirmation of taking on the Malaysian XI team on July 13, 2011...

Gunners in my HEART, TIGERS are my Soul

As the date approaching, news are flying over the imminent transfer of both highly sought after prolific players - Fabregas and Nasri, but that did not deter supporters from looking forward to the team's arrival. And it was a dissapointed confirmed news when Fabregas tweeted last Saturday on his omission from the Asia Tour. A sign that his move to Barcelona is happening soon???

But as soon as the full team squad was announce, Nasri inclusion in the tour gave avid supporters the cheers needed!

The team arrived in Malaysia to a warm reception and nice to know the pilot whom have flown them to Malaysia is a die-hard ARSENAL supporter. (Good choice, pilot)

The arrival of the team also signalled the 10 days EPL mania, kicking off with Arsenal FC taking on the Malaysian team, followed by Liverpool FC on July 16 and Chelsea FC on July 21. I can tell you the atmosphere leading to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium has been awesome.

Everywhere Arsenal went, flocks and flocks of Gunners supporters made sure they can get to meet or at least share a glimpse of their Arsenal heroes, that includes me :)

So i missed out on the Meet the Fans session, but thankfully, a good friend of mine got me autograph of the players. Sweet!

And off to Stadium for official training session on July 12 with Daphne and next day with Arsenal Supporters Club Malaysia fan club members and a colleague, Lisa Kim and BF...

It was good to see droves and droves of avid Gunner Supporters coming together to support our beloved team as well as Malaysia! and summing up a perfect night, my view from the pitch was excellent and plus some really crazy supporters surrounding me, the experience was just surreal!

Hitting 4 goals past Malaysia, Lethal Gunners seems a perfect demonstration of the EPL Giant team on the Malaysian leg of the tour.

Final Score - Arsenal FC 4 - 0 Malaysia XI

An unforgettable reception from the fans - the stadium was filled with approaching 70,000 passionate supporters. Notably, it seems many wants both team to win with the sightings 'Gunners in my Heart, Tigers are my Soul'.

I especially look forward to Nasri, Walcott, Van Persie, Wilshere and Arshavin in action. And was glad to see Walcott finding himself to the net. I like to note the fact, Aaron Ramsey and new signing, Ryo Miyaichi looks real good on the front. I really hope they can make an impact when

the new EPL season comes along next month.

For that SPECIAL SOMEONE in my life

Since half a year ago, he has had a painful time dealing with his sickness...

Sad to see him the dire strait but God must have had his plans to give him and us this challenging period, in which, all we can do is to accommodate and accept that this is a fact and reality!

It struck my mind how come he don't love himself as much as we hope he does, but doing things exactly the opposite of what docs advised him on. I wonder as i drove and stop him on his usual weekly routine. Everytime i see him down my car, this sense of gutted feeling, is this all i could do for someone so dear and this sudden urge on me made me wanted to cry yesterday.

Could this be our last celebration as a father and daughter on this special occasion, Father's Day which will be tomorrow?

As i see him steps in, all i could wish is God is there to provide him the comfort during this difficult period and hope that he is happy with what he is doing now.

Thank you and Happy Father's Day Daddy...

THE ONES WHO LOVES YOU or THE ONE YOU LOVE...

This is also for those who are waiting for the person they love to love them back openly, to those who are looking for love and those who know that their love is not meant to be…

Sometimes, in our relentless efforts to find the person we love, we fail to recognize and appreciate the people who love us. We miss out on so many beautiful things and simply because we allow ourselves to be enslaved by our own selfish concerns.

Go for the person of deeds and not for the one of words, for you will find rewarding happiness not with the one you love but the one whom loves you more.

The best lovers are those who are capable of loving from a distance, far enough to allow the other person to grow, but never too far to feel the love deep within your being.

To let go of someone doesn’t mean you have to stop loving, it only means that you allow that person to find his own happiness without expecting him to come back. Letting go is not just setting the other person free but it’s also setting yourself free from all bitterness, hatred, and anger that you keep in your heart.

Do not let the bitterness rare away your strength and weaken your faith, and never allow pain to dishearten you, but rather let you grow with wisdom bearing it. You may found peace in just loving someone from a distance not expecting anything in return. But be careful, for this can sustain life but can never give enough room for us to grow. We can all survive with just beautiful memories of the past but real peace and happiness come only with open acceptance of what reality is today.

There comes a time in our lives when we chance upon someone so nice and beautiful and we just find ourselves getting so intensely attracted to the person. This feeling soon becomes a part of our everyday lives and eventually consumes our thoughts and actions.

Others are lucky to have an actual fairy tale unfold in their lives, when they find that this is the significant other they’ve long been waiting for…

However, for some, the sad part of it is when we begin to realize that this person feels nothing more for us … We start our desperate attempt to get noticed and be closer but in the end our efforts are still unrewarded and we end up being sorry for ourselves.

You don’t have to forget someone you love. What you need to learn is how to accept the verdict of reality without being bitter or sorry for yourself

Believe me, you would be better off giving that dedication and love to someone more deserving. Don’t let your heart run your life, be sensible, and let your mind speak for itself. Listen not only to your feelings but to reason as well

Always remember that if you lose someone today, it means that someone better is coming tomorrow

If you lose love that doesn’t mean you failed in love

Cry, if you have to, but make sure that the tears wash away the hurt and bitterness that the past has left with you

Let go of yesterday and love will find its way back to you

How do i step out from the shadow of my "Haunted" past?

the mind and heart is thinking different, a split personality...

I have long let go of this episode but this lil' devil voice in me is keep whispering inside me, moving me to somewhere i don't wanna relive and revisit again...

how can i erase off those memories, is there a delete button that can erase it all from my memories? how do i keep it lock in the box and forever remain something of my past?

honey, you can do it! says mboy, you just keep it lock and don't think and let it control your mind and behaviour...

i decided it has to go, it has to be outta of my life for good, i have long let it go, it's going to be clear, i'm not going to be defeated and i'm going to get out of this shadow in me!

Spain are just incredible to watch, after losing to Switzerland at the opening round stages, they have come back just to prove why they're the best team in the World! MASTERCLASS performance...

It was a tensed and nervy semifinals against the Germans after their sublime performance, beating England and Argentina but it was Spain, controlling and passing the ball in extraordinary demonstration whereby the Germans hardly found any space to threaten the Spaniards...

It was the 73rd minute - that powerful header from Carlos Puyol, it got me screaminggg my lungs out (nah, it's not so much about i'm a SPANISH)

And so they setup the FINAL clash against the Oranje, battling it out on 11 July (12 July @ 2.30am Malaysian time).

She has leapt us all the older frens to get married (haha, i know she wanted to become either me or Paik San's bridesmaid) but she was faster than us. I bet she is getting excited, anxious, happy and etc now...

I'm all hers this year, so much so i have had my calendars all block for her big day this year (oh yea, that reminds me, i have to go on a strict diet regime)...

Yeah, he has joined me - we've became the "31 Birthday" couple...

Hmm, i'll only be seeing him this weekend as we've planned to celebrate both our birthdays together ~ so i'm wondering and anticipating this sweet weekend ahead!

and yeah, haven't got fulfilled my ultimate dream of striking my first JACKPOT! I hope ill get one this year, as well as the strike to FIFA World Cup 2010.

CLARINS - POWER TO TRY WORKSHOP (Post Workshop)

Yesterday went to Clarins Workshop at Amoda Building , after my Good Skin Labs workshop. As i was stuck and almost late, i've got no choice but to park my car inside Amoda building and left a sucker having to pay RM25 for parking. Goodness!

(Lesson 1 - Never ever park your vehicle inside this building, really cut-throat)

It was a interesting and useful workshop with lots of tips on skin care and make up for participants (not mentioning those lazy users like me, who don't even know how to differentiate a concealer and blusher).

From the workshop, i've learned that I'm a dehydrated skin female, main area to focus are my eyes (dark circles and eye bags). Therefore, you can see i'm so darn attentive when Michelle, the workshop trainer when she shared her tips on the eye care area.

Lastly, it was the make up session, in which i flop clumsily. Have problem with the curler, tried to curl but ended up hurting up eye lid (amateur, amateur)... Oh well, they were right, the beauty trainer, some of the gals sitted together said PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT (guess i will need to hurt myself more to be perfect, hehehe!)

It was a good workshop indeed eventhough i did not manage to get something as the makeup set i was interested has run out of stock. But still i went home a happy workshop participant with the complimentary door gift and shall look forward to the facial treatment at 50% off.

3 Beauty Workshops in a ROW - Clarins, Good Skin Lab & "Gotta Have It"

My time will be packed with seminars after seminars this coming weekend. Helluva, it's all about BEAUTY (arghh, since when lazy me so into beauty huh)..

I was supposed to blog about this since 2 weeks ago but as usual la, there was always other things that crops in whenever i try to blog about something. Of course, i indeed did promise Miu, i will blog about the Clarins workshop organised for her blog followers.

ONE : CLARINS POWER TO TRY WORKSHOP

A workshop specially organised by CLARINS for MIU blog followers. The workshop main objectives is for attendees to understand, pamper the skin with love and care. In addition, there will be quick and easy steps for make and touch up called "CLARINS Magic".

The event only open to invited attendees, the event will be held near Low Yat Plaza (Clarins Training Ground) and it will be a 3 hours workshop @ October 31, 2009.

A workshop organised by Good Skin and Malaysian Women's Weekly. This workshop is intended on beauty makeover by the right skincare!

Attendees who signed up and confirmed attendance with Good Skin Labs personnel. The workshop will be held at MidValley Megamall for 2 hours workshop @ October 31, 2009.

Note : Hope the skincare is as good as it mention!

Post Workshop : It was good. I love the eye care and bought one from them since my eye cream is running out. Hope i'll have beautiful eyes soon!

THREE : GOTTA HAVE IT @ WATSONS

A workshop organised by WATSON'S and will cover beauty makeover, hair treatment and facial sessions. 250 attendees who have signed up and confirmed attendance with Watson's. Early birds will have the privilege to get door gift from Watson's.

The workshop will be held Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from 10am - 6pm @ November 1, 2009.

Post Workshop : It was just mediocre. Participating brands include Bio-Essence, Nivea, Maybelline, Neutrogena, Sunsilk, Oil of Olay and PLAYBOY Fragrance. I supposed the were too many families who are so kiasu over those free gifts that marred the event. l have neva seen on whole family who has no shame in taking one after another, that just put off my mood!

Nevertheless, it was a good effort from the organiser, kudos...

The Show must go on - t Music Festival

What more do I have to say about this music festival?

ermm, a pair of free tickets (muaks jenny) and i'm in for a mini concert by the extraordinary line of artistes from HK, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Thailand and of course, Malaysia.

I was anticipating to see the first timer performance from Kay Tse, David Tao and Khalil Fong Tai Thong and they live up to their expectation, they were really good!

But it was an overall good concert from the artistes - Justin, Lee Sheng Jie, Joey Yung, Soler, Z Chen, ManHand and etc.

But it was the power failure burnt at the mid of the concert made it more memorable and warm. It was commendable effort by the organiser, as well as we audience. Imagine the scene - it was a romantic blackout in the stadium, everyone was patiently waiting and the organiser got the party on by restoring the lights in within half an hour. the SHOW MUST GO ON and we did not left dissapointed concert goers ...

Although it ends at almost 2am, it was great nite singing to all those tunes, here's one for the nite - i want to sing along song, that's not too long (khalil gets me going)...

oh what a day...

what a kick start to my 09 blog - on the 9 months, 9th day and year 09...

I read with high anticipation on another blog - 090909 is also classified as the World Day of INTERCONNECTEDNESS. Interconnectedness what? let me see : it is further explain as a deep sense of interconnectedness or oneness, is at the core of decisions and actions that are life affirming and good for the whole.

and all my mind was a picture of how many couples realising their marriage vows and those cute little babies born on this significant day...
