It's OK, Mr Lee

Thou you lose, the Nation are still proud of you!!!

Yes you offer no excuse for the poor display but we Malaysians still remember how you put us through on Friday night, that gritting semifinals play that send us Malaysians into euphoria

I was, I was anticipating the GOLD from you & of course to hear our Nation’s anthem to be played is something I guess all Malaysians were hoping for.

All eyes sets on TV to watch Lee Chong Wei in action

But like the papers said, it was just not your day – he, Super DAN was quicker, fitter and faster!

Witnessing across on the TV sets, I think many Malaysians could feel the pressure you were facing and to trail by a high margin – no one would be on the right mental mind to not crack! You were calm but perhaps he was stronger and he pounced on you to make mistakes one after another.

And I liken this quote from a daily today which says : - “He never claimed his invincibility, He was never seeded number one – Lin Dan was top seed. He never promised the GOLD. He gave his best and ended up with a silver, not for want of trying. Simply put, it was not his day.”

Mr Lee with his SILVER medal

In the end, it’s OK, Mr Lee – we sang Negaraku eventho you were 2nd cause you have made us proud & we’re happy you put us in the medal tally count!

3 cheers for you…
